Episode Notes

Welcome back to the UCET podcast, where we talk about all things Utah, education, and technology. In this episode, we get the chance to chat with Michele Edgley, the current UELMA president.

Over of the course of this episode, we discuss the following questions:

  1. What is something that you wish more people understood about libraries or librarians?
  2. What struck you as the most positive and exciting aspect of the Information Age?
  3. What are some of the disadvantages of the spread of technology in society? How can these be dealt with in libraries?

At the end of the episode, we spotlight the UELMA conference, coming up March 10th. This year’s UELMA conference theme is Libraries are Freadom. You can find more information on how to register on the UELMA conference website here: https://sites.google.com/uelma.org/annualconference2023/
